SEC football coaches are constantly being evaluated, and we do our part to add to that. This is the 10th in our series of head football coach evaluations for the conference.  Bret Bielema’s evaluation is the third of the SEC West evaluations.

Bret Bielema has been in the SEC for two seasons and is entering his third.  While Arkansas has yet to achieve notable success, unless you count reaching and winning a lower-tier bowl, he has taken a program that was muddled in turmoil and righted the ship.

Bobby Petrino led the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2008-2011, and led the program to some very successful seasons.  Petrino has never been one to avoid controversy, however, and was let go in April of 2012.

John L. Smith did his best to keep Arkansas on a successful path, but failed and was out after one season.  Enter Bret Bielema, who joined Arkansas after a successful 7-year stint at Wisconsin.

Bielema has yet to come close to the level of success he enjoyed at Wisconsin, but many believe 2015 is the year Arkansas will breakthrough.  Will Arkansas enjoy a breakout campaign in 2015?  Or will the Razorbacks continue to be mired in mediocrity?  Knowing the answer to that question would make his evaluation much easier, but he must receive one nonetheless.  On to his strong points.
