Unfortunately, there are some of us who are forced to work on Saturdays. Thus, we are denied the sweet pleasure of watching a full day of magical SEC Football. For those of you who are lucky enough to be off on Saturday, congratulations. You have a slate of great games to pick from.

Unfortunately, you probably have only one pair of eyeballs. (EDITOR’S NOTE: If you have more or less than one pair you probably should see a doctor). This means you can only watch one game at a time. Here at Southbound and Down, we’ve taken the liberty of deciding what the best games are. And now we will tell you which games to watch, when, and how, so that you might have the best Saturday possible. Enjoy.

Game 1: Auburn at Mississippi State, 11 am CT, ESPN

This game should be an interesting one. Both teams will be jostling for position in the SEC West. Only one team can win. Who will it be? Auburn most likely. The Tigers have a nasty defense and the offense looks like it is finally starting to round into form. When this one’s over switch to…

Game 2: Tennessee at Texas A&M, 2:30 pm CT, CBS

Also during this time slot: Vanderbilt at Kentucky, 3 pm CT, SEC Network

This should be another exciting contest. Tennessee and Texas A&M are both fighting to establish themselves as potential playoff contenders. Both are undefeated, though A&M has looked much better. Will that prove to be the case today? We shall see. When this one is done head back over to ESPN for…

Game 3: Alabama at Arkansas, 6 pm CT, ESPN

Alabama looks to extend its winning streak over the Hogs to 10. The Hogs are obviously hoping to start a streak of their own. Can Arkansas shock the world and take down the number one team in the land? Probably not, but I’m sure they’ll give it their best shot. It should be a fun game. After this one’s over it’s time for sleep. Then when you awaken on Sunday you can get ready for…

Game 4: Georgia at South Carolina, 1:30 pm CT SUNDAY, SEC Network

Due to Hurricane Matthew, the clash between the Dawgs and Gamecocks has been moved to Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs look to rebound from a devastating loss to Tennessee, while the Gamecocks try to build on a solid performance against Texas A&M. Who will prevail? Probably Georgia. But it’s still worth a watch. SEC Football on Sunday is a rare treat indeed.

And that’s it. Your long day of SEC Football will finally be over. But don’t despair. More high-octane SEC Football action is only a week away.
