In 2016, the Kentucky Wildcats started the season very rocky.

The Kentucky Wildcats blew a 25-point lead at home against Southern Miss, then proceeded to lose their 30th straight game to Florida by getting blown out 45-7.

Then, they captured lightning in a bottle. Going 7-3 in their last 10 games, including a huge win over in-state rival Louisville and clinching a bowl birth for the first time since 2010.

Now they’re looking to put up a repeat performance to let people know it wasn’t a fluke.

They have the majority of their starters coming back and will look to build off last season, and try establish some stability in the football program.
