Kelly Bryant decided to transfer from Clemson to Missouri after losing his spot to Trevor Lawerence. The quarterback is still a Tiger, but did he make the right decision?

Missouri Football desperately needed a quarterback with experience after Drew Locke left the program for the NFL Draft.

With Kelly Bryant deciding to transfer from Clemson, Missouri capitalized on him and somehow got him to campus.

Bryant made the decision to transfer after the first four games last season. Because he graduated from Clemson, he can be eligible right away.

He took his time with the decision, made visits to various SEC schools, and on Dec. 4, Bryant chose Missouri over Auburn, Arkansas, and others. And in my opinion, he still made the wrong choice.

His choice to transfer came as a shock to some, including myself. However, when he chose Missouri, that stumped me. Especially with teams like Auburn on the table.

Of all the places the quarterback could have gone for a year and played right away, he chose the Missouri Tigers.

For some fans, they seem to be excited about what he brings to the table, but they may not be too happy by the end of the season.

This choice by Bryant is probably one of the worst decisions he could have made for himself. He doesn’t fit the offensive scheme, isn’t the best passing quarterback, and will likely not live up to the hype that surrounds him.

Bryant should have stuck it out at Clemson behind Lawrence and finished out his career there.

Here are three things that stuck out to me as to why Bryant should have stayed where the getting was good, and rings were in his future.
