Alabama may rule the roost in football, but visitors on our panel weren’t all that impressed with Tuscaloosa.

You can’t deny that Tuscaloosa has some of the greatest food (I mean, Dreamland BBQ, come on) in the SEC, and absolutely some of the best fandom. But as a small SEC town it would seem some on our panel feel really enjoyed it’s charming offerings.

“Tuscaloosa as a whole would come across as a dull town, but there is lots to do. Just off of Bryant-Denny Stadium, University Boulevard has a great bar and restaurant scene, and downtown Tuscaloosa has a great restaurant scene as well. There is lots of Civil War and Antebellum related history there too for all you history nerds. The town is still rebuilding after the 2011 tornado, but you can still have lots of fun there.”

Next: Columbia, S.C.
