Richard Pitino, Minnesota – This seems like a sleeper pick although Pitino’s age and experience as a head coach will probably come into question.  He was Donovan’s assistant from 2009-2011 before accepting the job at Florida International. He did guide the Panthers to 18 wins in 2012-13, the fourth most in school history.  Although he has only been the Gophers’ coach for two years, the lineage speaks for itself.  When you are Rick Pitino’s son and have coached under him for five years, the knowledge imparted is insurmountable.
