Texas A&M vs. Arizona State – Houston, Tex. – All of the verbal cliches about pin ball machines, shootouts, and gunslinging offenses will apply here.
This is easily the most fun game to watch with the speed on both sides of the ball. The passing acumen of Mike Bercovici will be a major test for new Aggies defensive co-ordinator John Chavis who comes to Aggieland from LSU.
The Sun Devils will have their plethora of speedy wide outs as Ellis Jefferson will be the latest leader at the position as Jalen Strong has graduated to the NFL. A&M was 102nd in the country in total defense a year ago and could be a substantial underdog here as the defense looks to get it’s feet supplanted.
