Oklahoma at Tennessee – The Vols were in the game in Norman midway through the second quarter last season.
This is going to be a much-improved Tennessee team with Joshua Dobbs solidly planted at quarterback. This is an outstanding opportunity for the Volunteers to enter the national scene with an eye-opening win in front of a sellout crowd in Knoxville.
Bob Stoops, under fire at OU after a mediocre 2014 that ended with a resounding bowl loss to Clemson, made several changes on his coaching staff. Interestingly, one of Stoops’ hires was offensive coordinate Lincoln Riley from East Carolina. Riley is a Mike Leach disciple and has been highly successful in Greeneville with the Leach approach to offense.
