How to Watch: ABC

The LSU Tigers started the season on a hot streak, but faded down the stretch. The reason for their success was the play of stellar running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette ran the ball 300 times and averaged 6.5 yards per carry. Sadly for Tiger fans, quarterback Brandon Harris held LSU back from reaching their potential. Alabama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss all stacked the box and dared Harris to beat them. He couldn’t.

This year both Harris and Fournette return, as do both of LSU’s top two receivers, Malachi Dupre, and Travin Dural. On defense, LSU has a new coordinator, Dave Arranda. Arranda is fortunate to be working with a slew of talented players. However, he is transitioning to a 3-4 which could take some adjusting to.

Wisconsin has to replace quarterback Joel Stave and receiver Alex Erickson, but returns four out of five starting offensive linemen. On defense, the Badgers should be strong everywhere except possibly safety, where both starters have to be replaced.

Prediction: Brandon Harris won’t be able to win this game, but he won’t need to. Fournette will run wild and LSU will win by two scores.
