Georgia football: the big red recruiting machine rumbles

Of 27 five-star players nationwide, five live in Georgia. Georgia football signed four.

The top two players in the country, both quarterbacks, are Georgians.

The top two offensive guards in the country are both Georgians. Georgia football signed both.

Three of the top six ranked quarterbacks in the country are Georgians. The State of Georgia will send quarterback signees to Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Miami, and North Carolina.

Athens also sits within easy reach of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida talent. Athens sits in a near perfect spot to recruit football players.
