4. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 3

Dropping a spot to No. 4 this week is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks now sit at 20-4 overall for the year, a record that includes a 4-2 mark in conference play. The Razorbacks began the week with a 12-2 home win over SE Missouri State, but would drop their road series at LSU this past weekend by falling in games two and three, 12-2 and 14-5, respectively, even despite having won game one by a final score of 9-3.

Arkansas will now begin this week at home with a matchup against Omaha. The Razorbacks will also remain at home this weekend for a series against Alabama.

3. Vanderbilt Commodores

Previous Ranking: 4

Rising once again in this week’s update is Vanderbilt, as the Commodores now jump a spot to No. 3 sitting at 19-5 overall, as well as 6-0 in SEC play. Vanderbilt would play only three games this past week, which came during a weekend series sweep at Mississippi State via final scores of 26-3, 18-5, and 11-7.

Having now won seven-straight, the Commodores will return to action Tuesday night with a matchup against Lipscomb. Vanderbilt will also host Georgia this weekend in SEC play.
