  • see the performances of Dak Prescott, Derrick Henry, and Leonard Fournette.  The media world does not stop though, for any man, whether you’re covering Heisman contenders or not.  I’ve now taken on the dubious task of already looking into next season to try and find the potential Heisman contenders from the SEC.  I mean, why not?  There are 8th graders out there getting scholarship offers.  We follow some kids’ recruitment from the 9th grade, just as long as they got 3 stars or better by their name.  So, yes, it is ridiculous to predict Heisman candidates almost a year and a half away from the 2017 Heisman ceremony.  But it is what we do in the projections’ world.
