Once again Georgia and Alabama top both the SEC football and national rankings. Can both teams stay on track to make the College Football Playoff?

The SEC football schedule has hit one of the most crucial weeks of the year for several teams. SEC Championship and playoff hopes could be dashed for more than one team depending on the outcome of several games.

Last week my SEC football picks were 4-5 ATS (my first non-winning week of the season), making my record for the season a pretty decent 51-26 according to lines on OddsShark.com

SEC Football Dog of the Week

I swore to never do this again, but….

Arkansas Razorbacks at No. 16 LSU Tigers (-17)
12:00 pm – Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, La.

I just can’t jump off Arkansas in games like this. If it were a night game at Tiger Stadium, it would be a different story, but a noon start, and the Tigers being a bit banged up after smashing into Alabama last week (and leaving the Tide no worse for wear), you have to think the Hogs will be able to hang within at least two scores here.

Orgeron’s boys get the win, but Arky spoils the spread.
