SEC football is just around the corner, which means spring practices are getting underway at all 14 schools.

March means several things in the South. Basketball tournaments, heavy winds, weird weather and Spring football.
The 14 teams of the Southeastern Conference are getting geared up for the 2015 football season, with spring practices as well as NFL Pro Days and the Spring football games.
Some teams, such as the two Mississippi schools, got an early start and began spring drills last week. We’ll be taking a look at all the spring practices and ranking some of the best position battles going on in the conference.
This will be the first spring for only one new SEC coach, Florida’s Jim McElwain. Every other coach in the conference has at least one year of service. Will McElwain be able to get the Gators back on track? It’s going to be tough without a lot of offensive players to speak of left from the Will Muschamp era.
