It may be very early, but the question can still be asked…
Who is the most valuable player on each SEC team?
Obviously that’s hard to say right now. It could be one of last year’s star players, or possibly someone who has been waiting behind another player, or even one of the incoming freshmen (See: UGA – Nick Chubb, 2014).
We talked to the editors of our SEC team sites and got their input as to who they think next season’s MVP will be. Some were pretty obvious choices, while others went dark horse with their picks. Interesting to note, there were only two defensive players chosen, with the rest being either a quarterback, running back or wide receiver.
Whoever the MVP might end up being, there are certainly some great players on this list, and all of them should end up playing a big part in any success that their team may have this season.
Here’s the way-too-early picks for 2015 MVP for each SEC team.
