Kentucky football is becoming a thing, and while they still aren’t quite up to the success and fan support of the hoops Big Blue Nation, quarterback Patrick Towles showed last season that the Wildcats will need to be taken seriously.

Our Kentucky editor seems to think the arm of Towles is the key to the Wildcats success, and it’s hard to argue that as he was the biggest offensive weapon the Cats could muster last season.

Kentucky still has a long way to go before they are contending with some of the big boys in the SEC, but with Towles under center completely nearly 60 percent of his passes and having close to a 2-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio, the Wildcats will always be in games and have a shot at winning.
