  • Eric Slater: Leonard Fournette

It’s not surprising that our LSU editor would choose this rising star as the possible MVP for 2015. Strength and speed and great vision will have rising sophomore Leonard Fournette turning a lot of heads.

Fournette was another freshman running back who had an incredible season in 2014, and with no real solution in sight to the Tigers’ quarterback woes, they’ll need their big back to carry the load in 2015.

Not only could Fournette potentially be the Tigers MVP, but you have to look at him as a possible Heisman Trophy contender in his sophomore year. He’s got the skills, and it looks like once again LSU will be going run-heavy on offense.
