Mississippi State Bulldogs

Both of our Mississippi State editors wanted to avoid the obvious answer of Dak Prescott for MVP (hence, their “possibly” contenders) but I think everyone in Starkville knows that Prescott is the motor that drives the Bulldogs’ engine.

After a breakout season and speculation that he might bolt for the NFL, Prescott opted to return to Starkville to see if he could help finish what was started in 2014, namely a shot at a national championship for the Bulldogs.

It’s hard to imagine the clanging cowbell nation being as excited about football without Prescott, and certainly even harder to imagine the Bulldogs winning as many games as they did without him. Clearly, he’s going to be the man for Mississippi State.
