Arkansas had to know they needed to be weary of Wofford, as the 12-5 upset in the NCAA Tournament happens all too often.

But the tourney is all about matchups, not seeds, and that’s why teams like Wofford can give ranked teams like the Razorbacks all sorts of trouble. The Razorbacks didn’t match up well with the half-court game played by the Terriers, and it showed the entire game.

Arkansas thrives on creating turnovers, but when a team plays with the slow, methodical pace that Wofford does, those turnovers are hard to come by. The game was tight from start to finish, with neither team wanting to give in.

It was down to the final possession, when Wofford came up with several second chance points, but couldn’t get anything to fall, just missing out on the first NCAA Tournament win in school history. The Razorbacks needed every bit of the big game they got from Michael Qualls, who put up a game high 20 points.

Next up for the Hogs is the North Carolina Tar Heels, in what should be tough game for both sides.

And finally, was Kentucky able to stay perfect?
