No. 9: Potential Shut-down Corner of the Year – Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida Gators

Hargreaves is already looking like the college version of Darrelle Revis, with very few targets going his way because coaches are just plain scared to get the ball near him.

Despite not seeing a lot of action in his direction, Hargreaves notched 50 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 INTs, and 13 passes defended in 2014, as well as earning his second straight All-SEC honor. This is a corner who has first round draft potential written all over him.

Despite an all new coaching staff coming in, don’t expect anything different in terms of defense from Hargreaves. He’ll still be the shut-down guy who is matched up with the top receiver on the other side of the field.
