No. 4: Potential Rebound Team of the Year – Auburn Tigers

Auburn’s offense was a typical Gus Malzahn offense in 2014, confusing defenses, running wild and racking up incredible rushing yards. Add in the deep throw ability of the now-departed Nick Marshall, and that was a scary bunch to face.

The defense, on the other hand…

To say Auburn struggled on defense was to say that WWE wrestling “might” be fake. They were an utter mess, and the high-powered offense simply couldn’t keep up.

To remedy this, Malzahn hired former Florida Gators head coach and top defensive mind, Will Muschamp. If anyone can turn that defensive dumpster fire around in a season, Muschamp can do it. Even if they improve 50 percent over last season, that could mean two or three more wins than last season.

Auburn should be looked at as a contender in the SEC West before the season even begins.
