No. 13: Vanderbilt Commodores – Mr. C

Mr. Commodore went through a bit of an overhaul recently, but he’s still a nightmarish figure. You want a mascot who is certain to frighten little children away, then Mr. C is your man.

Admittedly, it is a step up from the old grey-haired bloke, who was a creepy-looking as Mr. Herbert, and he couldn’t even talk.

Looks more like a candidate ad for shanghaied sailor patrol. Sorry, but we have to give two anchors down to Vandy’s costumed creation.
