Hugh Freeze – Ole Miss Rebels

Stock: Up

Like his counterpart in the other Mississippi school, Hugh Freeze is riding a wave of success at Ole Miss. The difference is, his wave may crash to shore long before Dan Mullen’s. The Rebels’ annihilation at the hands of TCU in the Peach Bowl certainly showed how quickly things can turn.

Ole Miss has had some huge recruiting wins over the past few seasons, and they have a defense as good as anyone in the nation fields. But on offense, things are going to be kind of touch-and-go with the Rebels this season, and Freeze may take some heat.

Right now, all the noise and chatter and hoopla generated by Freeze has him looking good in the eyes of the Rebel supporters. We may be singing a different tune by the time October and November arrive.
