Steve Spurrier – South Carolina Gamecocks

Stock: Down

Little by little, South Carolina fans are coming to realize that the head ball coach may have lost his magic, and that the Gamecocks window of opportunity with him at the helm may have already passed.

Spurrier can still coach, and the Gamecocks still have some players, but its not nearly the same type of team we saw two and three years ago. Spurrier is hanging on, and hoping for one more day in the sun and hoisting an important trophy over his head, but that may not happen.

While it used to be blasphemy to bad mouth coach visor in public, you now see a lot of fans coming out and questioning whether its time for Spurrier to just retire.

Without vast improvement this season its only going to get worse and more vocal.
