Kevin Sumlin – Texas A&M Aggies

Stock: Down

This one seems a bit odd based on the success that Sumlin has enjoyed since coming to Texas A&M, but fans in College Station are restless and Sumlin the subject of some negative chatter.

Sumlin had to dismiss an overzealous assistant coach who hit two West Virginia players during the Liberty Bowl, and fired his pool boy for tweeting about a phone conversation he was having while in the midst of hiring a new (and badly needed) defensive coordinator.

All these little distractions and a couple of recruiting disappointments following an 8-5 season (3-5 in conference play) have fans not quite as high on Sumlin as they have been during the past few seasons. He’s still supported and liked, but definitely not the way he was a few seasons ago.
