Mark Stoops – Kentucky Wildcats

Stock: Up

Mark Stoops could probably dance around naked in the quad with a Louisville cap on his head and not even get noticed by Big Blue Nation right now. All the focus in Kentucky is on the undefeated basketball team and John Calipari’s future after the season.

That said, Stoops still has to start delivering on the field. He’s made strides in recruiting and brought the Wildcats back into some semblance of respectability, but they still aren’t a feared team or picked to win many games.

The Kentucky fans’ apathy towards football only goes so far, and at some point they’ll start turning on Stoops if things don’t get better, but for now they love their coach as long as he doesn’t interfere with the basketball program.
