You say Oxford and the first thing coming from most of our panel was “The Grove”. Everyone loves the pretentious charm and hospitality of that setting on game day, and the city itself is like something out of a novel.

Lots of classic shops and eateries in the downtown area (don’t miss The Blind Pig), and tons of culture and tradition in an old south town.

However, there were some complaints which is why Oxford didn’t take our top spot.

“We hear all the time about how beautiful of a town Oxford is. And it’s true. But Game days knock it down extremely far. Sorry, but the Grove comes across as a massive fire hazard. It’s almost impossible to walk amongst all the fans around there. And the Greek Life is honestly just annoying.”
