Lexington has great appeal for a number of reasons, but still wasn’t a favorite of our panel. If you love Bluegrass and college hoops, then Lexington is an ideal spot for you.

It’s a bigger town compared to many of the stops in the SEC, and that was on the mind of one of our voters.

“The horse farms around the city are all beautiful, but it’s just too big for my taste. I want a college town to be a walkable, cozy and intimate place. Can’t really knock Lexington, but can’t promote it either.”
