8. Missouri Tigers (13/1)
When Missouri transitioned to the SEC in 2012, nobody though they could keep up. Fast-forward to 2015 and the Tigers are back-to-back eastern division champions with a chance to win another one.
The ‘new guy on the block,’ Missouri wasn’t supposed to be the team beating their chest in the eastern division. But the scary part is that ‘Zou might not be finished yet.
Maty Mauk will be throwing for the Tigers again, and Russell Hansborough will be taking hand-offs. The duo combined for 35 touchdowns, as Mauk threw for nearly 3,000 yards and Hansborough ran for 1,000.
The Tigers will have to fill in holes at receiver, but the offensive line is back in full force. On defense, All-Conference linebacker Kentrell Brothers and All-American lineman Shane Ray headline a defense returning seven starters.
A steady investment: Missouri isn’t the favorite in the East, but ‘Vegas knows that they’ve been there. If the Tigers take care of buisness in their divison, then they could sneak into the championship game and attempt to knock off a member of the SEC West.
