DeMarre Carroll, SF – Missouri (Drafted in 2009 by Memphis)
Carroll leads the Hawks in the playoffs averaging 17.1 points per game and 3-point field-goal percentage shooting 44 percent from behind the arc. He is second on the team in field-goal percentage, shooting 52 percent from the field, only behind teammate Mike Muscala. Carroll played at Missouri before the team joined the SEC in 2012.
Al Horford, C – Florida (Drafted in 2007 by Atlanta)
Horford has been the household name of this Hawks team since he came into the league in 2007 after back-to-back NCAA Championships with the Florida Gators. Horford is not a flashy player, but he is a productive player. Horford leads the team in rebounds per game in the playoffs, averaging 9.9 rebounds a game and has been averaging 15.6 points per game. Horford clinched a Game 5 victory against the Washington Wizards with a last second rebound and game-winning layup sending the Hawks back to Atlanta where they would finish the series against the Wizards and move onto the Eastern Conference Finals.
