 He’s a Great Recruiter

Saban is going on his eighth season as head coach at Alabama, during that time he has had the No. 1 recruiting class five years in a row according to 247 Sports and many experts say he is on his way to sixth consecutive No. 1 recruiting class. One reason he has been successful is his work ethic. While other coaches were wrapping up their 2015 classes, Saban was already working on his 2016 class.

There are no off days for Nick Saban. When Alabama didn’t make the national championship game in 2010, Saban didn’t just sit there and watch Auburn. He went on the ESPN set and was an analyst for their college football show to keep his school’s name in the forefront, despite not playing in the actual game. It paid off, because he had back-to-back No. 1 recruiting classes which ended up turning into back-to-back national championships.
