Alabama vs. Wisconsin, Arlington, Tex. – It’s the perfect opener for the Crimson Tide as they can help to exorcise the demons of their surprising loss to the Big Ten’s Ohio State in the inaugural Final Four in college football last season.
For Nick Saban, it’s simply finding a quarterback. The jury is still out on whether Jacob Coker can settle in and be productive as a starter. The guess here is Saban might still be interested in adding Notre Dame’s Everett Golson, who left the Irish and has made it known that he is interested in playing in the SEC.
Alabama’s defense will not have to contend with Melvin Gordon in the Badgers’ backfield, but Corey Clement behind a physical offensive line should give Paul Chryst a shot in his opener as the Badgers’ head coach.
