Could this be the year that Mark Richt gets put on a tighter leash than UGA IX ? Richt has had successful runs in his 14 year term at Georgia, but has yet to break through on the national championship stage. While rumors of a Richt being fired if the team doesn’t do well this year may or may not be true, what is true is the 2015 Georgia schedule has the No. 9 ranked Bulldogs poised for an SEC Championship run. Georgia will of course play an unranked Florida team in Jacksonville on Halloween, which if they play like they did last year, may be scary. Other than that, the Dogs will be away from Athens only to face Vanderbilt and No.14 Tennessee. Besides Tennessee, the real road test for Georgia will come later in the season when the travel to Jordan Hare to face out of state rival Auburn.
