When opposing teams venture into Tiger Stadium and take on LSU in Death Valley, the Tigers immediately have the upper-hand. The atmosphere created by the fans has made Tiger Stadium one of the toughest places to play in.
In 2014, the Tigers went 5-2 in Baton Rouge with one of those loses coming in overtime against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This season, Les Miles’ team should fair very well in their home matches against McNeese State, Eastern Michigan, Florida, Western Kentucky, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
The only true test for the Tigers at home will come in week 3 when they go up against the Auburn Tigers who will have a revamped defense under new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, but will be operating with a new leader under center.
LSU should run all over their opponents at home this season and will have the easiest time making the home fans happy.
