Athens, Georgia will be the stage where a number of teams will enter a hostile environment in 2015. The Bulldogs lose workhorse Todd Gurley from the backfield and some veteran players on the defensive side of the ball, but when they take their home turf, their chances of winning are pretty high.

The Bulldogs will welcome Louisiana Monroe, South Carolina, Southern University, Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia Southern and Alabama in between the hedges in 2015. The Dawgs will have to deal with an even tougher road schedule.

Besides the frequent SEC opponents the Dawgs know well, the teams heading into Athens don’t stand much of a chance. Their biggest home game will be October 3, when the Crimson Tide come to town.

The last time both teams were ranked in the top-10 when these two powerhouses met in Athens was in 2008, the Tide won the game 41-30.

If Georgia can pull off some big road wins and a victory at the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville against the Gators, they could end up winning the SEC East and going to the SEC Championship game.

Couple that with a winning record at home in 2015, and the Bulldogs could make the College Football Playoff this season if the necessary players step up.
