SEC Baseball Poised for Another Title

The NCAA Baseball Tournament’s final eight teams are locked in. Four of the last six national champions have come from the Southeastern Conference, and it is looking like 2015 could make it five out of seven years. You could say the SEC is college baseball’s premier league.

The SEC has four schools rank inside of the top 10 in the latest edition of USA Today’s Coaches poll; No.1 LSU, No. 3 Florida, No. 6 Texas A&M, No.9 Vanderbilt.
Not to mention college baseball’s most prestigious individual award, the Golden Spikes Award, is guaranteed to end up in the hands of the SEC with the award’s four finalists all residing in the same conference.
The SEC had just two teams competing for a title in last year’s College World Series. With just eight teams in left in this years edition of the tournament, the conference has an impressive four teams still fighting to win it all at the CWS.
