Music City Bowl: Ole Miss

A New Year’s Six qualifier in 2014, the Ole Miss Rebels were an exciting team to watch in ’14. In ’15, I don’t forsee a New Year’s bowl for the Rebs, but another competitive season in the Western Division should be expected.

The award? A trip to the home of the Tennessee Titans and a date with a Big Ten or ACC opponent on national television in front of 60,000+ rabid fans, most of them making the short 230-mile haul up I-40.

Several starters return to Oxford, seven which manned the feared Landshark defense of ’14.

On offense, quarterback Chad Kelly is expected to start, but will have to prove that he can lead the Rebs against the defenses of the SEC West. Fortunately, Kelly will have standout receiver Laqon Treadwell and a veteran offensive line for help.
