8. Anthony Dixon, Mississippi State
Dixon was the bright spot for some below average teams in Starkville from 2006-2009. The Bulldogs teams Dixon played on only mustered up one winning season with Dixon in the backfield.
Individually however, Dixon is near the top of the SEC leaderboards. Dixon is eighth overall in SEC history for rushing yards (3994) and tied for seventh in touchdowns (42).
Dixon set bars at Mississippi State that players had not even been close to in the past and won’t be into the future. He owns the school record for most rushing attempts (910), rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
He won’t be replaced in the Bulldogs record books for a long time to come. Dixon currently plays for the Buffalo Bills and has found the end zone 10 times through his first six years in the NFL.
