It Could Happen, But It Would Take a Lot of Luck

Kevin Sumlin – Texas A&M Aggies
Bret Bielema – Arkansas Razorbacks
Jim McElwain – Florida Gators

Both Sumlin and Bielema have programs that are more than capable of recruiting top talent, and have coaching experience and talent to put it all together…but they’ll need help.

Nobody will deny that luck plays a pretty big part in the quest of a national football championship, but for these two coaches they’ll need to rub their rabbits foot with a 4-leaf clover while hanging horseshoes in their offices….all the while, rubbing the head of a midget.

McElwain is a good coach, and has things trending in the right direction at Florida. We can’t rightfully can’t put him in the “ain’t gonna happen” category, but without a body of work to evaluate, we can’t give him better than a slim chance either.

If you were betting on any of these coaches joining the club, you’d best be hedging your bets.
