SEC Basketball: Top players ready for NBA opportunities

SEC Basketball has been on the rise for some time. Even before the 2014-2015 NCAA basketball season started in November the talks surrounded the preseason No.1 team, the Kentucky Wildcats.

As seems to have become the norm under John Calipari, the Wildcats had a team full of young stars and a few veterans set on making a National Championship run, but besides all the winning, the talk was about the players’ transition to the next level.
One-and-done Wildcats…nothing to see here…move along.

Kentucky could potentially have five or more players selected in just the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft. The Wildcats however aren’t the only team that had top SEC players pass through last season that are destined for the next level.
