Allen took the starting job in November of 2014 for the Aggies and led the team to a 3-2 record in his final five games. Allen completed 61 percent of his passes and threw for 1322 yards and 16 touchdowns. Allen is the future face of the SEC.
Yes, Chubb and Fournette will be the best sophomores in the SEC this season but beyond that when those two backs leave for the next level, Allen will be in the shadows ready to emerge in 2016. The analysts have him on the Maxwell watch list for 2015, but I think his season to shine will come during his junior year in 2016.
