No. 2: Jim McElwain

McElwain may rank as the number two newcomer on our list, but is no stranger to SEC football. McElwain spent time in the Southeastern Conference at Alabama as the offensive coordinator for Nick Saban from 2008-2011.

McElwain’s time at Alabama gave him two National titles as an assistant. This time around McElwain will have to deal with the SEC slate as the man in charge in Gainesville. At his last stop in Fort Collins, CO with the Colorado State Rams, McElwain was able to put up impressive numbers.

His offense in 2014 was 19th in the country in yards per game, 18th in total yards, and 9th in total passing yards. He will take over for a Florida program desperate for any sort of offensive production in 2015.
