Coming out of high school, Fournette was the top ranked running back in the country for the 2014 class according to espn.com. After rushing for over 1,000 yards in his freshman campaign, Fournette is ready for a Heisman run in 2015. If the Tigers struggle through the air like they did this past season, they will have to put a lot of weight on the shoulders of the sophomore running back.
Fournette made it a point to say that winning the Heisman in his freshman year was a goal. He will have a realistic shot in year two of his collegiate career if the passing game can contribute. This season provides his first real opportunity to win the trophy.
