Mark Stoops (Evaluation)

Stoops, like Butch Jones, is entering his third year at Kentucky.  His program has not attained the same level of success, on the field or off, so he slips behind him in the power rankings.

Unless he is able to pull off a tremendous year with the Wildcats, do not expect Stoops power ranking to adjust much after the year is over.  The over/under on his placement has to be +1/-1.  McEwlain could jump him after a year, Jones could slip up.

Moving up or down a single spot is about as much as Kentucky faithful can expect for Stoops without some serious Bluegrass Miracle level performances in 2015.  Though they’d prefer to play the role of LSU this time.
