Before the injury of Jonathan Williams, this spot would have been reserved for Brandon Allen.  Instead, the most important offensive player for Arkansas in 2015 will be Alex Collins.

While Collins and Allen could not care less if they tried about who is viewed as the team’s offensive MVP, they would gladly trade their spots.  Why?  Because that would mean Jonathan Williams was still healthy.  Collins is certainly a capable SEC running back.  He is an upper-tier SEC running back.  But going from having two future NFL running backs to one is a huge blow.

If Collins can produce with the effectiveness of two men, Arkansas has a shot at something special.  Regardless, they will go as far as Collins can take them.  He is the most important offensive player at Arkansas in 2015.
