If Missouri is to do the unlikely and win the SEC East for a third consecutive year, Maty Mauk will play a key role.  Actually, he will play a key role whether the Tigers win the SEC East again or go winless.

As rockmnation.com put it, “ . . . Mauk is inaccurate, inconsistent, and one hell of a leader.”  His inconsistency is legendary, but so is his career in the only part that should ever matter for a quarterback:  wins.  Mauk helped guide the Tigers to two straight SEC Championship appearances.

Whether Mauk and Co. make it three in a row or produce a complete dud of a season, the Tigers will rise and fall with Maty Mauk.
