Kentucky gets the Gator off it’s back, qualify for a bowl
The Kentucky Wildcats are the long-suffering whipping boy to eastern rival Florida and that changes this season. The ‘Cats have lost 28 straight to the Gators and were shafted by officials in a 38-31 overtime loss at the Swamp.
This season, the Wildcats have UF at home. While Kentucky loses experience on the defensive line, Florida’s offensive line is reportedly in dire straits.
While UK loses a lot at the position, the Wildcats will be able to poke holes in the Gators’ thin and inexperienced offensive line. This will flush the quarterback out of the pocket and cause problems for the Florida offense.
Besides, all streaks come to an end one day, and karma says that the football gods owe this one to the ‘Cats. Mark Stoops’ signature win ends up being the difference between 5-7 and 6-6 for UK, and he stays off the hot seat in ’15.
