Week 2 – Sept. 12: Home vs. Ball State, Kyle Field College Station, Texas

In 2014, the Aggies went 3-3 in their home games in College Station, giving the fans some solid flashes of brilliance and some points of utter despair. As the team opens up the 2015 season at home, they will dominate Ball State to gain their first win of the season and get the fans excited for the seven home games in 2015.

This game will be the first game ever between the two programs and the Aggies will continue their recent success against non-conference opponents. In 2015, the Aggies went 5-0 against non-conference opponents including a 45-37 win over West Virginia in the 2014 Liberty Bowl.

After skepticism in the offseason over the starting quarterback job and the rough week one loss, this game against Ball State will give Kyle Allen a chance to regain the trust of the fans and impress the coaching staff by how he commands the offense against a weaker opponent. Ball State has never beaten an SEC opponent and that trend will continue in week two.

Record after week two: 1-1

Next: Week 3: Nevada
