Week 5 – Oct. 3: Home vs. Mississippi State, Kyle Field College Station, Texas
Wanting another bold prediction? Here’s one: the matchup between the Aggies and Bulldogs will be one of the lowest scoring SEC games of the season and the Aggies will finish with a better season record than Mississippi State.
That’s right, the team that has one of college football’s most talked about leaders, Dak Prescott, will be one of the biggest disappointments of 2015. During week 14 last season, the Bulldogs were ranked No. 4 nationally and were one of two one-loss teams from the SEC as the season wound down, the other being Alabama.
The fall from national prominence will be huge for the Bulldogs in 2015 and it will be evident during their loss to the Aggies. The media has already predicted the falloff, not even giving the Bulldogs the time of day in the AP poll rankings. They failed to make the cut.
During week five, Murray will get his first taste of the field and get some much needed reps in SEC competition for what is going to happen later down the road during the 2015 season.
