Week 8 – Away @ Ole Miss – Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Oxford, Mississippi
After an embarrassing loss to the Crimson Tide in week seven, things don’t get easier for the Aggies as they play on the road in Oxford. The Ole Miss Rebels have one of the best defenses in the country and will cause three turnovers during this game, exploiting the huge problems with A&M’s offense.
Something has to change. The team isn’t winning and their shot at being anywhere near contending for the SEC West is quickly out the window.
The Aggies think that they have built a program that can compete quickly, but their confidence will be shaken as they solidify a massive losing streak during the middle part of the season.
Last season, quarterbacks Bo Wallace and Kenny Hill put on a show ending in a 35-20 win for the Rebels in a battle of Top 25 teams. This year, the Rebels will hold the Aggies to even fewer points and will show off their revamped offense without Wallace, a true team approach. They will attack the opponent’s defenses from all angles, then exploit them with their defense and special teams.
Record after week eight: 3-4
